I have recently bought a TY107 tracker to help keep an eye on my wife when she is out as she has memory problems

The product is very good with both 'talk' and 'text' modes, so one can either get repeated text messages showing the wearer's location (text mode), or one can have two way verbal communication as well as receiving a text location message (talk mode)

Minor constructive criticisms -

the buttons on both sides of the tracker and in the centre are all the same colour (red) - would be better in future versions to have different colours so one could advise the wearer ' press the white/pink/blue button';

also a longer life battery would be good, but given the tracker size and the size of the battery perhaps we are at the limit of current technology;

finally it would be very useful if a low battery situation were able to be indicated on the tracker itself (ie either a light going on/off if the battery were to fall to say 15% of a full charge)

Bottom line - a good product that does what it says on the tin and provides peace of mind; also excellent support provided from Trackyour home base (Posted on 21/01/2015)

We bought this for my mother-in-law who is still living at home independently but is suffering from dementia. She has started wandering out in the middle of the night and this device was for us to be alerted to this and then find her.
When out of the house the GPS is great, but when in bed at night the location is poor, sometimes as much as >300m showing a speed of 1 mph. Thus we have a huge geofence perimeter to stop false alarms. This means she could wander around outside her home and not alert us.
The ability to call it is excellent and locate when outside is great. Batteries need changing every other day as we have it set up. We are using this in combination with door sensors and a remote camera to give is the information we need, (Posted on 22/12/2014)
